Art and music are for everyone! The Center on Third hosts an ongoing variety of art and music classes for all skill levels to accommodate a diverse array of interests.
We provide a variety of classes and programs to encourage connection and promote self-regulation.
We believe that support is critical in empowering one another and enabling families to handle the unique challenges of adoptive parenthood.
The Center on Third provides dedicated support for the unique attachment and trauma challenges foster and adoptive families may encounter. While the Center on Third specializes in services for adoptive families, we are happy to provide services to any family who could benefit from our programs.
Our free programs include: ukulele classes, beginning guitar, drawing and painting, poetry, djembe drumming, west African dance, lending library, parent workshops, youth workshops, monthly support groups, and more to be announced. We are committed to equipping families with a safe, fun space that enables connection and promotes self-regulation and an overall sense of wellbeing.
Our regular hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 5pm and Monday and Friday by appointment only.
